Cookie Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

1. About this policy

This policy explains how agentfy.co.uk (the "Site") uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage. The Site is operated by Chris, trading as Agentfy ("Agentfy", "we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly what personal data we collect and why. If you have questions about either, contact us at chris@agentfy.co.uk.

2. The short version

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors or sell data to anyone.

The Site itself sets no tracking cookies at all. The only things stored on your device by default are a small record of your cookie choice and, if you are an administrator signing in to manage the blog, a login token. Both are strictly necessary.

There is one optional item: our chat assistant. It only loads if you accept it.

3. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. "Local storage" works in a similar way but is not sent back to the server with every request. UK rules on cookies (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, alongside UK GDPR) apply to both, so we treat them the same way in this policy and refer to both as "cookies" for simplicity.

Cookies are described as "strictly necessary" when the site cannot provide a service you have asked for without them. These do not require your consent. Everything else does, and we will not set it unless you agree.

4. What this Site actually stores

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

  • Your cookie choice (agentfy_cookie_consent, browser local storage, set by us). Records whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so we do not ask you again on every page. Stored until you clear it or change your choice. Contains only your choice, a version number and the date.
  • Administrator login (browser local storage, set by Supabase). Only created if someone signs in to the private admin area to manage blog posts. It keeps that person signed in. It is never created for ordinary visitors.

Optional, only with your consent

  • Agentfy chat assistant (loaded from app.agentfy.co.uk, our own application). Provides the chat window on the Site. When it loads, it connects to that application, which receives your IP address and the address of the page you are on, and may store data on your device to keep your conversation going between messages. It does not load at all unless you accept optional cookies, and it is removed on your next page load if you later change your mind.

5. Third parties that receive technical data without setting cookies

Some services the Site relies on do not store anything on your device, but do necessarily receive your IP address as part of delivering content to your browser. This is inherent to how the web works rather than something we can switch off while still serving the page:

  • Google Fonts: serves the typefaces used across the Site. See Google's privacy policy.
  • jsDelivr: a content delivery network that serves some of the code libraries used by the blog and admin area.
  • Our hosting provider: processes standard request logs required to serve the Site.

6. Forms are not cookies

When you submit the demo request form or the lost lead calculator, the details you type are sent to us so we can respond. That is covered by our Privacy Policy, not this one. Submitting a form does not set a tracking cookie.

7. How to change your choice

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page on this Site. That reopens the banner and lets you accept or reject optional cookies again.

If you reject, the chat assistant will not load. Nothing else about the Site changes, and every page remains fully usable.

8. Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you do this per site. Bear in mind that clearing storage for this Site will also erase the record of your cookie choice, so you will be asked again on your next visit.

Guidance for the common browsers is available from Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

9. Changes to this policy

If we add a service that stores anything new on your device, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again before that service loads. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

10. Contact and complaints

Questions about this policy can be sent to chris@agentfy.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
